DELF and DALF are official French-language diplomas issued by the French Ministry of Education and do not have a fixed expiry date. They may be accepted for study or professional purposes, depending on the institution. They are not the French tests accepted for federal Express Entry: IRCC currently lists TEF Canada and TCF Canada. Always confirm the credential required by the receiving authority.
This page preserves a 2025 planning reference. Dates, centres, fees, identification rules and offered levels change. Use the current France Éducation international DELF guidance and the selected authorised centre's live notice before registering.
DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) covers A1, A2, B1, B2. DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) covers C1 and C2. Each level is independent — you take only the level you need. Certificates are issued by the French Ministry of Education and carry lifelong validity.

For federal Express Entry, IRCC currently accepts TEF Canada or TCF Canada for French evidence, not DELF/DALF. NCLC 7 or higher in all four French skills can qualify for 25 or 50 additional CRS points depending on the applicant's English results under the current criteria; other language points and the full profile also matter. Results must be less than two years old when required, and no score guarantees an invitation. Check IRCC's current language-test rules.
DIFL's DELF B1/B2 preparation includes exam-format practice, speaking exercises and structured feedback. No course can guarantee a pass; candidates should use official sample papers and choose a study plan that matches their starting level and exam date. Ask about the next batch: 9929-51 51 51.
